2008 Audi R8 V12 TDI Le Mans Review. The R8 consists of a twin turbo diesel V12 engine with a capacity of 5934 cc. The bore measures 83 mm and the stroke measures 91.4mm. The engine delivers an output power of 500 bhp and 738 lb-ft torque at 1750 rpm. It reaches the speed of 60 mph in 4.2 sec and the top speed is 186 mph. The car features six speed manual transmission and the gear shifts can be performed easily even at higher loads.

Power for the concept comes from the automakers race-derived 6.0 liter V12 diesel motor, which was first used in the R10 Le Mans competition car, and is now available in the Audi Q7. The engine produces 500 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. The peak torque, reached at only 1,750 rpm.
The car sprints to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds, according to Audi. Like most German automakers, Audi is probably reporting a very conservative acceleration time for this car.

Audi RS5

The Audi RS5 is almost here, and fortunately for us American fans Audi super coupe will be released as a facelift.This latest version of RS5 made its official debut this week at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011, bringing all the latest updates we have seen introduced in the Audi A5 range.

Audi today announced its latest concept which is set to debut at the 27th annual Lake Wörther Tour being held at the end of May in the Austrian province of Carinthia. The new Audi A3 TDI clubsport quattro concept joins the Audi R8 V12 TDI and the Audi R8 V12 TDI Le Mans that we saw in Detroit in Geneva as Audi’s lineup of high-performance TDIs.
Looks wise the two-tone red and white concept gets a DTM-looking rear spoiler, bolt-on wheel arch for a muscular aggressive look complimented by 20-inch wheels. The inside gets racing bucket seats and open gear lever gate in aluminum trim.
Power for the new A3 TDI clubsport quattro comes from a 2.0L TDI 4-cylinder TDI with common-rail injection system that produces 224-hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. 0 to 62mph comes in at 6.6 seconds with a top speed of 149mph. Power is transferred to the wheels through a six-speed manual transmission with a and the quattro all-wheel-drive system. Stopping power comes from six-piston brake calipers ceramic brakes in the front with handling improved by the ESP stabilization system and Audi’s Magnetic Ride Technology.
